LB 602- Would adopt the Nebraska Firearms Freedom Act. The FFA essentially states that any firearm or accessory manufactured, sold, transferred, and possessed in Nebraska is not subject to any Federal gun control measures, provided that item does not leave the state of Nebraska. LB 451- Would prohibit federal restrictions on firearms, magazines, and accessories after 1 January 2013.*Petition to support LB451 here. *LB 451 has been endorsed by the Nebraska Sheriffs Association. LB 390-Would change provisions relating to Governor’s powers regarding restrictions on firearms and ammunition under the Emergency Management Act. The hearing has scheduled for Feb. 28th. LB 335- Would allow law abiding citizens to keep weapons secured in their personal vehicles while at work, regardless of employer’s policy. LB 352- Would require the Nebraska State Patrol to define uniform signage. Only uniform signage would carry the weight of the law in prohibiting otherwise lawful concealed carry. LB 293- Prohibits the disclosure of any and all personal information of persons in relation to purchase, ownership, registration, transfer of any firearm. LB 171- Provides and expedited Concealed Handgun Permit issuance process for persons who are victims of domestic violence. LB 50- Would provide civil liability for leaving a weapon where a prohibited person may gain access to it. LB 148- Would make possession of ammunition by a juvenile a felony.
