Either way, please show your displeasure of these business’ policies by spending your money with their competitors. Please help us keep this list current by contacting us with changes or additions.
You can help get rid of these signs by politely asking to speak to the owner of the business. Explain to them that by creating a gun free zone, the are actually creating a less safe place for their customers and their employees. Criminals with guns don’t obey “No Guns” signs.

LaPaz sign is a non-typical sign off to the far right easy to miss. Last time I was there (first week of January, 2012) it was still there.
Section 21-4 City Code prohibits carrying or discharge of firearms in all city parks. Appears to be no prohibition against transporting locked in the vehicle.
Are you talking about Bellevue? I believe that after the CHP Pre-emption law passed, no city can prevent carry of concealed handguns in a park by a valid permit holder unless they place signage at every entrance to the park.
So, my take is that if the park is conspicuously posted with signage, that meets the legal requirements, it is off limits.

The buggy bath BP station on W. O in lincoln is no longer posted. I talked to the manager and apparantly a regular customer that was planning to get his permit convinced her to take down the sign.

It seems to me that when privately owned businesses are open to the public they should not be allowed to try and infringe any constitutional rights of the public. They cannot ban people for their religion so why should they get away with banning second amendment rights?

Also — Dave and Buster’s in Omaha doesn’t allow concealed carry (at least last year when I called and asked I was told not to).
The 51% rule is nearly impossible for anyone to follow with any certainty… If I recall Brewsky’s made the list for reasons related to an antigun attitude on the part of the management, but that was some time back when the law was just being enacted

Taco Bell on the West side of Columbus has a “No Guns ” sticker posted on their front door.
