Had a revolting development at the range today...

That, is what is left of the reverse recoil spring stop from my 1911. At least it happened at the range during practice and not during a serious situation.

So, back to my hands and a blade until I get a replacement and make sure all other key components are up to snuff.

It's a high standard mutt with an RIA frame and WC/ Ed Brown internals.

That may have been the only stock part left on the gun...

The RIA frame is a Philly, I have never replaced this part before, it was a factory part.

In its original manufacture it was a High Standard Crusader Compact.
