Burris AR Prism Sight AR-536
« on: April 02, 2014, 10:41:38 PM »

Anyone have any opinion on this?  Cant hurt my feelings i havent yet bought it.

Im open to suggestions for my AR build, if someone can point me in the best direction.

I suppose i want to be somewhere in that price range.  Truth be had ill probably only ever take it to the range, but then again, its always nice to be prepared too.

EDIT:  i guess im unable to post a link, will try again tomorrow.

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

I will throw my .02 in... FarmerRick posted the link for a Primary Arms Magnifier so I thought I would throw one out for there scopes. I have not yet had a chance to get any of these scopes (someday :() but I have been following review threads on other sights and everyone really likes them.

There 1x6 will be in stock some time this month. You can run it like a red dot (not daytime bright) or be able to shoot distance. It has built it BDC and ranging. It will run you about $300 and if you don't like it they seem to be holding resell value since they are never in stock and a lot of people(arfcom) want one.

They also have a 2.5x prism sight

Thanks for the input.  I'll check into them.

Think i'm looking for something more along the lines of what FarmerRick has posted.

This is a smoking deal they just started today too.  Can't beat this setup for the price on something that isn't your home defense/SHTF gun. I'd stick with an Aimpoint for that.

dangit Farmer Rick!!! When I clicked the palmetto link this morning, the Aimpoint was on Special @ $330, or something like that. Now, when I click on it, it's at $400+.

Well, i ended up going with the Aimpoint PRO last night.  After having stared at it all day long, it was to hard to pass up.

I'm down to front and rear sights, and now a magnifier. The actual build should keep my weekends busy for a while.
