They strike again...but now on private property
« on: September 24, 2013, 10:58:11 AM »
Looks like the deprived idiotic fools of world are at it again... but no longer bound to the schools and government.

September 23 news hit that:

A couple of kids were suspended awaiting decision of possible expulsion for playing with an AIRSOFT gun on the owners very own FRONT LAWN.

The kids were not on school property.
The kids were not at the bus stop.
The airsoft gun NEVER left the owners own property.

The kid has good manners, very polite, and seems pretty smart.

(even if the kid took it to school... so what, it's airsoft, not a big deal warranting any kind of attention...least of all this kind of attention)

But are you surprised? I'm not.

I like how they turn a airsoft gun into a firearm. Seems like a nice kid. Zero tolerence=Total Stupidity

I've been following this , too.
Appalled? Yes.
Surprised?  Not really.

You realize, of course, that the reason why school boards cannot allow Christian students to write about, mention, or otherwise practice their Faith is because the "public" wouldn't be able to distinguish between school boards making policy and Congress writing laws ... but it is apparently OK for school boards to make policy which is forbidden by the Constitution.

The part in italics is incorrect.  Just so you know.

That is separate from the topic of this thread, in which a school obviously overstepped their bounds, UNLESS the boys really were shooting at people waiting for the bus.  (Even then, I'd say they overstepped their bounds, but at least there would be a justification for it.  Not a good one, but at least something.  Their decision regarding it was beyond stupid, however.)

Since the bus stop was 70 yards away, it seems unlikely that the boys could have hit them from the yard, and the school is simply making up stuff to try to cover themselves.

Yup, I'd fire a law suit back at them.

Zero tolerance for the school forever harming the educational needs of my child while they were deprived of an education for a few days over their own blatant mistake.
