thanks to the EPA, the last lead smelter in the US is shutting down

And I would venture to say it will be more expensive to buy premade jacketed too..

This smelter doesn't service the bullet makers. Most bullet lead is recycled anyway, and none of the recycling smelters are closing. This factory mainly serviced the car battery market, and new lead from the mines is being sent to Mexico for smelting, then being returned to the U.S. This is just more NAFTA B.S.
