Anyone any opinion on this, or something the prefer as far as lubrication is concerned?

Also,  can the stuff be bought locally?  Didnt see it at cabelas or scheels, and havent gotten to any local guys to check as of yet.

DE Guns has it here in Lincoln.  I use it on all my guns right now.  I haven't used enough other products to make a good comparison, although I will say that when I ran my AR with it the first time there was a noticeable difference (in a good way).

I got a tub from Amazon.com. Have used it on three stainless revolvers and love it for that purpose. They seem to clean up much better in annoying places like the front of the cylinder and between the frame and the forcing cone where crud builds up. Black deposits wipe off more easily after applying the Froglube.

On a nicely blued shotgun or rifle I'd stick with traditional oil.

I'm a cheap SOB.  Mobil 1 has worked fine for me, and one quart from the auto parts store will last a LONG time.

That said, I've never had a gun malfunction because of lube, regardless of what I've used.  I just make sure they're properly lubed and shoot the heck out of them.
