I will get in line at the real-estate office to sell, before I register, relinquish my 2nd amendment freedoms, to the point our eastern brothers are being treated.

There are those who will abandon their rights and conform to tyranny rather than stand for what's right. I have to wonder how many are out there who are not conforming/registering.  The media is going to make a few look like the majority

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

Convictions become stronger under pressure, while preferences are let go and given up. Is freedom a preference or a conviction for these people?

I can tell you this, they try that crap here, I ain't goin down town to register an damned thing, They can come to me. And my door is never "open". When they break it down, I will "be in fear of my life and of deathly harm" and will be prepared to defend myself as such.  Just sayin'

Not me...I will register everything I have.  Unfortunately, after the canoeing accident where I lost nearly every firearm I own to Davy Jones locker, there will only be one .22 pistol to register.

Dang it!  I just knew putting all my guns in that canoe was a bad idea.
