I remember seeing something in the news once about this guy that made a fictional movie about the true origins of Islam and Mohammed.  Although it was cheap, and crudely done, it was enough to get scooped up and "disappeared" into E.Holder's justice system.

 Now comes Weinstein & Co. with a "great idea" to make a ( slanderous/libelous/whatever you call a film with defamation as it's focus?), piece on the NRA and that seems ok.

Soooo.... Was the mistake the original film maker made the lack of a donation to the Obama campaign or not getting Clooney/Damon to play the part of Mohammed or both?

The NRA doesn't need to portray a dystopian future.  History has already given us countless examples of tyranny.  Pretty much every fiction and non-fiction movie about Nazi Germany from "Life is Beautiful" to "Schindlers List" gives you a taste of what life is like when people are denied the basic right of possessing weapons. 

Let Weinstein and Streep have their little masturbatory fantasy of a world where gun control and confiscation are still serious topics for discussion.  I live in the reality of an America where the shooting sports are hotter than ever, new shooters are joining our ranks every day, and guns and ammunition are flying off the shelves.
