Legal purchase turnaround time?
« on: January 23, 2014, 03:21:38 PM »
Is there a legal purchase turn around time?

I bought a new m&p pro last friday, although i kind of went in thinking i'd be leaving with a revolver.

so, the revolver itch is still  present.  is there a "proper" amount of time i should be waiting before giving it a good scratching?

Not sure what you are asking.  If you are asking about how much time needs so a "multiple handgun purchase" report is filed, that is 5 business days.

I guess i didn't word that very well going back and rereading my post.  I think this answers it.

So as long as 5 days pass, i can go purchase something new again without raising any red flags?

Yes, after 5 business days. Calculated by the days that shop is open.

So.....the million dollar question!  Are you gonna keep the m&p & snag a revolver as well? That would be my recommendation!  :D

Just an FYI, purchasing two guns within five days wont even cause a blip on the ATF radar............purchasing 20 in five days will have em taking a closer look however.
