Would anyone be interested in IDPA Indoor Matches at the new Take Aim range?

Good to see your post pop up here on the Forum screen.

From all indications, the Take Aim owners are quite ready to move forward with the IDPA proposal.

Seems like these activities need to take place:

1)   Hold training for IDPA SOs, scorers, and other positions as needed to create an IDPA leadership cadre that will ensure IDPA rules, procedures, ........whatever.........are followed during the matches.

2)   Schedule IDPA matches and events.

Past history w/IDPA in the Metro Omaha area indicates that it was pretty much a self-perpetuating activity, due to the focused interest of all the shooters involved.

Things I Remember from the Past BH IDPA Events:

>Tom E. moving like a cat through the course of fire.

>That Guy from Offutt who could shoot and reload a revolver in one continuous uninterrupted stream of shooting.

>Getting hit in the head by a target carrier during cleanup by an IDPA shooter who shall remain nameless for the present.

>Mark R's constant cheery chatter between courses of fire.

>Being around a large number of Serious Shooters Who Knew What They Were About......

Just saw this ....

Back when dirt was new, just a bit before this forum was founded, I found out about TheBulletHole Tuesday night shoots (on ccwne.com!) .....used to go to as many IDPA shoots (3rd Tues, IIRC) as I could..... learned a lot..

No, am not a member of IDPA.
