For those who have asked me lately: Yes, we still have space left in this class. So go ahead and register. (If it DOES fill, I'll get you an email immediately letting you know that you are on the wait list, and that I'll tell you if someone drops out.)
Remember---for this class you need either a practice barrel (such as this:
http://shop.blade-tech.com/training-barrel-c-81_123.html ) or a barrel blocker (such as this:
http://www.trainsafe.us/products.php ).
You just don't need ammunition. And we are indoors all day, so you don't need to worry about the weather.
The class, as I've said, is only $85 for a full day of training including scenarios. Quite frankly, that is considerably less than my normal one-day training prices, and it is priced that way (like my Introduction to Handguns course) because so many people
need it as a way to get started in their understanding of Concealed Carry. And they don't understand that they need it.
Many people buy a compact or sub-compact gun, buy whatever "concealment" holster is suggested by the local gun store, pass the NE State CCW course, and that's it.
And if you are going to be safe with your CCW firearm, if you are going to be
effective with your CCW firearm, that
isn't enough.
Unless, of course, you think that carrying it will somehow keep the bad guys away. (Hint: it won't.)
How do you know that your holster is right for you? Comfortable? Concealed? How's your draw out of it? Do you carry every day?
Do you actually know and understand the use of force laws with respect to lethal force? Have you ever practiced any application of them?
What is your handgun technique like under stress? What is your decision-making capability like under stress? Have you ever engaged in scenario training?
$85.
