I recently moved out of New York State to get away from all the weirdos. Unfortunately while I lived there my entire life I purchased an AR-15 that complied with
the assault weapons criteria and my AR-15 came with a pinned stock, and a pinned flash suppressor. I have since replaced the pinned stock with a new collapsible one, However I'm curious if anyone has any experience with/knows someone who does/knows a gunsmith who does know anything about removing my pinned flash suppressor. It appears to be a drift pin that has been soldered/welded in place. I realize trying to remove this probably requires splitting the entire flash suppressor off the barrel. So does anyone have any good news for me? If at all possible I'd like to do this and not completely destroy the muzzle/crown/threads. Thanks all!
