It is hard for me to understand how a group of people who has been historically oppressed by those in power who happen to be the same people with all the guns to help them retain that power, could not understand the importance of the 2A. Sadly though, I think a majority of the African American community don't have a strong belief in gun rights. Hopefully these community leaders will carry more weight than people like Jessie Jackson who want their people to remain oppressed so that they can continue to have a job, whatever that job is.
