This course is intended for students who already possess a concealed handgun permit and want to evaluate their own level of proficiency in order to improve upon it. While the CCW program is a good start, it does not provide students with all of the tools necessary to be properly prepared for a real life-threating altercation. The primary goal of this course is to open student’s eyes to this fact and allow them to realize that they need to elevate their own skill level so that they are better prepared for the worst case scenario. Students should see a marked improvement in their proficiency level by the end of the night but more importantly leave with the knowledge necessary to continue to improve on their own once the course is over.
