I referred to UNL requiring all freshman students to live on campus not UNO. No, UNO does not require students to live on campus, but UNL requires all unmarried students with less than 27 credits and who are under the age of 19 on the first day of the fall semester. Students can get waivers if they live with parents or close relatives within a 30 mile radius of campus.
If we are truly going to advance our liberty then making it a civil right, like it should be, is imperative. I played by the rules when I went through college, and this guys definitely effed himself but I'm just trying to look at it from a different perspective.
Also, Deanne Brink this morning incorrectly stated that he "did not have a permit for the rifles which is required in Douglas county". I emailed them to ask for their clarification.
