Note the ordinance covers reloading components too. I can't think of a single retailer that is in full compliance with this crap... And they think that a few signs on the door are too much of a burden to place on a business owner

FarmerRick:
Wow!!  I thought Obamaha had some really stupid laws...   :o

RobertH:
don't forget Lincoln's no gun in a car for 24 hour rule.

tstuart34:
DE might be one of the few places that I have been in that might be compliant I am not sure if that is by choice or the fact that they have every available inch filled! ... I have not been up the stairs much though so the might have some stuff up top.

Narrow point: the Lincoln prohibition is on a firearm being left in an unattended motor vehicle for more than 24 hours. The ordinance does not prohibit leaving a firearm in a car for more than 24 hours unless the car will be ungaraged _and_ unattended for 24 hours.

If the car in question is kept in a "locked enclosure or building," the ordinance does not prohibit storage of a firearm in that vehicle, even for more than 24 hours.
