...had to share this!  Its a discussion that could easily be taking place at a liberal dinner table near you...

I have a quesiton, we might need to amend our stair control, but....are n't escalators like full automatic stairs?
turn it on and it just keeps going and going and going

have you been to the dallas fort worth airport? some of those are HIGH ELEVATION FULL AUTOMATIC STAIRS/ESCALATORS

Yes.....a tax stamp would be required for all 'fully auto' stairs! 

Stairs that are not long enough would fall under the same restrictions as short barrel rifles.

Ahhhhhh.

Hmmm, good point.  Most escalators are black (or bi-tone if they're really nice). :)
