FFL Notice
« on: May 05, 2014, 11:23:28 AM »
Hello all,

I was contacted by Mr. Vic Samuel, to inform you all that he is closing his business, SSA Enterprises.
He was contacted by a member about transferring a firearm and was told his info was taken off this forum. I checked the thread on FFL's but did not see his info included, reason for a new thread.
Vic has been a long time friend and losing him to the Island of Dominica is a sad thing, but we sure wish him well in his Island adventure.
I guess at this time I will throw my name into the hat for FFLs'.
I know some on here, check the forums often, post little. If I can help in any way, please let me know. I do transfers, $20.00, I do firearms cleaning and some repair, not a gunsmith, but some things people just don't want to do themselves, sights, scope mounting, spring replacement, duck hunters are my specialty, some of you know what I mean by that.
Located in Millard, transfers by appointment, and available when you are.

That's too bad, I had always wanted one of his custom Martini rifles.  Not that I was ever in a position to buy one...

Good to know about the $20 transfer fee.   Many places are twice that, and that is greedy, IMHO.

Vic Samuel will be missed in the East Nebraska area.   One Very Fine Fellow, indeed.

Met him years ago at Canfields while attending a dog training class.   (Shoulda brought the dogs.)   Turned out that Vic was a (1) shooter of prairie dogs, (2) owner of a very stubborn German Wirehaired Pointer, and (3) a certified gun nut.  Wife said, "Omigosh.... There's two of you!"

Vic is a spark plug and natural leader.   We'll miss his influence and excellent company.   He'll deservedly enjoy his new digs in Dominica.   Fantastic view of the ocean.   No Nebraska winters.

Now...........If you live anywhere in the Omaha area,

Let me urge you to use Lee McMurray as your FFL guy and your light shotgun repair guy.   He's a Great Person and a Solid Shooter.   Totally honest, dependable, and all other positive character traits.

Lee, what part of Omaha are you located in?

Tom Kennedy (Zombie Tactical) in Bellevue is $15 for regular FFL and $60 for NFA transfers. Great guy to work with.
