As I recall this event, a horde of Hollywood and entertainment celebrities flocked around her like a protective Glittering Galaxy.   Which worked.   Appeared to actually intimidate the judicial system.

One columnist wrote that "...it's as if they are celebrating her."   And of course, they were.   Protecting One of Their Own.

She was a Sweet Little French Chickie, not exactly beautiful, but good-looking enough.  Soft little voice.  French accented singing.  Projected vulnerability.   

Andy Williams, recently divorced from her, nevertheless rushed to her side.   Which was Oooed and Ahhhed by the Glitteratti.

Wouldn't be the same for any of us.   Natcherly.

Off the subject, folks check out that movie from the clip above.  Called:  The Party.   If you are a Peter Sellers fan, it is a must see.  In the spirit of a bungling Inspector Clouseau.

This is the same state that botched the murder investigation of Jon B.   I guess the Colorado LEO folks don't see many homicides in upper white color neighborhoods?  That has been suggested by some investigators in the little girls case.  .
