Eastern Nebraska Gun Club is excited to again host the USPSA Great Plains Sectional match in 2014! This is a 9 Stage Level 2 Match that will take place on Sunday, July 13, 2014. This match requires every participant to be a USPSA member. It will be held at ENGC (Directions) near Louisville.

Registration: Registration must be done via mail. A link to the application and instructions is here: http://easternnebraskapracticalshooters.com/2014Sectional/2014-sectional-registration-2.pdf
Please note that you must check-in with match staff at the range prior to shooting!

Match Fee: $75 if postmarked by June 30, 2014. Juniors are $50. $85 if postmarked by July 1, 2014 or later, including juniors. Cancellations after July 1, 2014 will receive no refund.

Shirts: Match Shirts (nice performance shirts, not t-shirts!) are also available for $25 each and are available in sizes from S to 3XL. If you'd like to purchase a shirt, please indicate it on your match application. Shirts must be ordered by June 30, 2014 (and we need to have received payment by the 30th also). Unfortunately, there will be no shirts for sale at the match, only what is ordered at registration.

Stages:
Schedule Is As Follows:
  • Competitors will be allowed to look at stages starting on Friday, July 11 after 3:00PM.
  • Competitors must check-in with range staff prior to the start of the match to receive their scoring sheet stickers. Check-in is 5:00PM-9:00PM Saturday, July 12 and 7:00AM-8:00AM Sunday, July 13.
  • Match Meeting starts at 8:00AM on July 13, 2014.
  • Match begins at 8:15AM on July 13, 2014.
Equipment You Will Need:
  • A handgun chambered in 9x19mm or larger.
  • A holster for your handgun. It is highly recommended you get one designed specifically for your gun and not a universal holster.
  • Plenty of ammunition. Bring at least 275 rounds. It never hurts to have “too much” ammo and it is highly recommended you bring more (never know how many “make up” shots you might need or you may need to reshoot a stage)!

Not sure what division you have the equipment for [see Appendix D]? Want to get more in-depth with the rules? Read more here: http://www.uspsa.org/document_library/rules/2014/Feb%202014%20Handgun%20Rules.pdf

I am REALLY hoping to go to this.  I've never shot in anything beyond a Level 1 match.

If you haven't registered yet, and you are planning on getting a match shirt, you had better get it done!  Only people who get their registrations (and match shirt orders) in by the cutoff date will get a shirt---we aren't ordering extras or selling any at the match, and they DO look cool...

Cutoff date:  Match shirts must be ordered and paid for by June 30th.

It's a performance shirt, not a cotton T---if you saw the RO shirts last year at Area 3, those are the types of shirts you are going to get!

A bit under two weeks left if you want to order and pay for a shirt! They're gonna be pretty awesome (if we say so ourselves), so get your money in soon!

Also, match fee goes up after the 30th! If you want in, NOW is the time to send in your registration!

Just curious, will our ammo be chrono'd at this match?  I'm pretty sure mine will easily make Minor PF but I should probably run it through myself just to make sure.

Always expect a chrono at any match above a local club match.  Sometimes it doesn't happen at a Level II, but it often does.  (And it'll certainly happen at a Level III or higher.)

And you should always have chronoed your ammo to make sure it makes power factor.  :)

Ok, I'm going to be that guy and ask more questions....have emails been sent out for squadding yet?  I haven't received one so I wanted to make sure I didn't miss it.

Oh, and my ammo chrono'd ok :)
