I recently started a long range pistol project.
I have a early contender frame and grip that I put a MGM 16.5 inch bull bbl and then a Witt machine works muzzle brake
and I am in the process of making a bench rest forend
the heavy bbl combined with the mild 223 round should make it so I can watch the bullet impacts.
I am also installing a 20x vortex scope.

no  i dont compete in anything these days (no time)
i just like shooting the smallest groups i can and i like hitting long distance clangers.
so i do something like this and then develop loads for it
then just play around
i might use it on p-dogs some time.




i have .357mag
.22lr
and the .223rem barrels for this.
but it always wears that new custom MGM barrel these days
i am upgrading the scope to a viper vortex.
 the one it is wearing in the photos gets too fuzzy at high magnification.
