He's not joking.  I see from fbo.gov that DHS has a contract out to procure 90,000 Kilo Lima KL-1s, "or similar specification pistols", as their standard issue sidearm, plus three hundred billion rounds of ammunition.

Last time I went near a monkey cage the little SOB expressed himself in my direction with what may have been a species-typical activity, but it offended my sensibilities.  (Also true story!)

The KL-1 is an outstanding monkey gun.  Coincidence?  I think not.
