Matt at MidWest LeatherWorks does it again
« on: July 04, 2014, 10:35:12 AM »
Show and tell time boys and girls:)

I recently acquired a Smith & Wesson Shield for CC, and needed a holster. After looking around at my...limited...options, I remembered sparky had posted about finally getting set up in his new place and was making holsters again. Got ahold of him and told him what I was after, and he shot me a very fair price, (like he does for all NFOA'ers, hint hint).

Anyway, here is what he set me up with:

The fit is phenomenal, retention is great for a leather holster, and as you can see the clip is adjustable for depth of carry. Very light, comfortable, and thin, even with a relatively tight shirt it does not print very much at all. I'm not a fan of appendix carry either, (something about a firearm being pointed in the general direction of something I'd like to maintain) but I have tried it with this holster and it seems to be just fine as well.

All in all, Matt will continue to be my source for fine leather work, and I look forward to seeing the product of what we discussed when I picked this up as well:)

Well, that Little Beauty is just too darned sweet and pretty for CC.

Better switch to OC.

And get yourself a matching belt and pair of boots.

He is in the Omaha/Gretna area. I don't know if he would have anything for your Sig, you'll have to email him and ask. He is a site sponsor, you can also email him at

Thanks Dave, always a pleasure to deal with you.  I thought your boots matched great!  The matching vest may have been a bit much though. :)

gsd:

Might as well OUT the Lederhosen right now and get it over with all at once.

Otherwise, just..... drip, drip........drip.

That explains why he is selling the BLACK riding vest. It clashed with his new holster[emoji13]

Matt, PM me a price of what it might be to build a Milt Sparks design.  DeSantis makes one called a Mad Max that is the same idea.

I want one that will allow the use of a Glock light / laser.

Is my idea possible?
