This video would be great for training a less experienced person.  I don't know how long I had been shooting before I heard of a squib.  I (un?)luckily experienced one when I first started reloading.  I say "un?" because using a brass rod to tap out the squib was not what I wanted to be doing at the time, but it WAS a good learning experience.  I am glad that I now know what it sounds and feels like.  I am hoping I will be able to catch it if it happens again to myself or others.

While my squib was with one of my very early reloads, I have heard of a surprising number of squibs with quality brand name manufacturers.  Many speculated that it was a result of the manufacturers working around the clock to get caught up with the most recent panic.  Not sure if that is true, just speculation.

First let me say that is something I have NOT experienced.  Secondly, let me fix that for you...

Lastly, I have seen that video before, but it always brings the same question to mind.  Why in the HELL would you look down the barrel?!
