Your Next Open Gun... a HIPOINT??

My shooting buddy uses a .45 HighPoint and I've put about 50 rounds through it.  Well balanced, smooth trigger pull.  He's going to get a 9MM version.  I've suggested that he get the 9MM carbine as well, and focus on just one caliber of bullet.

That's the first time I've ever heard a Hi-Point trigger described THAT way.

I must admit, the first time I saw a Hi-Point in real life, I thought it was a joke.  Seriously, I thought some theater major with no real knowledge of guns took some modeling plastic and made a production prop.  A really bad production prop.

I haven't shot one, but I have held one, worked the action, and tried the trigger. 

Truthfully, I'm pretty sure that this gun is more accurate, more reliable, and has a better trigger:
