The latest twist in the saga of an Evil Being
« on: August 04, 2014, 03:33:50 PM »
Sorry- I can't stand typing it's name.

http://www.omaha.com/news/crime/lincoln-regional-center-refuses-to-accept-nikko-jenkins/article_5ff5ebb0-1c0c-11e4-a0d3-0017a43b2370.html?TNNoMobile

Summary-  Judge sentences to Regional Center to be made competent for death penalty hearing- Regional center says he's faking it and is too dangerous.  Backed by Governor and such.  Judge not happy.  May leave the state.

Just lock the SOB up and throw away the key.

He's had good training:

Nikko Jenkins is charged with killing four people in Omaha this year, but criminal activity in his family began decades ago. An investigation into the family's history revealed patterns of violence, child neglect and drug and alcohol abuse. The behavior has escalated from generation to generation, making the Leverings one of the city's most notorious crime families.
...
A World-Herald examination of the Levering history shows that 38 descendants of Levi Levering have been convicted of 633 crimes in Omaha since 1979.

Those cases have cost taxpayers at least $2.8 million in prison and jail costs, not counting the price tag of law enforcement, juvenile cases, prosecution or public defense.

Family members have been involved in at least 150 other cases during that period that ended in acquittals, mistrials and dropped charges.

A time line of their activities is here

If you think the Nebraska schools are bad, you don't know bad.  Regardless, one key element you left out is a lack of positive mentoring.  Parents, guardians, or just SOMEONE who would instill values, and a lot of this could be avoided.  The problem is that his ancestors taught him nothing of value, unless you consider criminal skills as being of value.  What they did teach him was how to milk the welfare system while he did wrong with no moral conscious.

Well the "good thing" is the Regional Center is notorious for having "patients" stroll out of the building and go for casual walks around the neighborhood...

Was talking current events (this) with a coworker last night.  A friend of hers runs a bar/ grill near the Regional Center. She said she would just quit if they put him in there, because WHEN he broke out, his first stop would be to the bar for a quick stab and grab for cash and whatever.
This all got me thinking..... Maybe we SHOULD put him in the relatively low security regional center, and just Happen to leave the door unlocked and let him slide.  Of course the perimeter would be teeming with unmarked undercover officers (Serving and Protecting the neighborhood, of course) and all households would be fair warned to be prepared to defend themselves if need be........ See where I'm going with this?  ;)  As I've said before, this monster just somehow needs to go away.
