Laundering, drug trial begins in Exotica case
« on: August 13, 2014, 09:12:05 AM »
This case is of interest to me for several reasons.  This scumbag has run a couple of  businesses in the lincoln area over the years.  All ending badly.  His last stint in prison was 4 years.  For interesting crimes like selling sex with German Shepherd's.

He gets out of jail and goes to work for Exotica selling drugs and drug paraphernalia.

I have a simple serious question to you folks with kids and grandchildren in Lincoln and Omaha.  Why was Exotica allowed to stay in business, what, 15
years?     I complained loudly to the health dept that issued them one of their business licenses.  Did no good.

Finally the feds ended this illegal business.  Thank God.   Praise the feds for doing what Lincoln refused to do for so long.

I hope the scum that was selling drugs to our kids get life in prison without parole.

God forbid people be responsible for their own unwise lifestyle choices! Clearly we just need to punish the people that make money facilitating them. Uh-huh.

Next, we'll go after gun manufacturers and dealers for the role that their products play in street crime, right guys?

If not, what is difference in reasoning that leads you to one conclusion for one, and a different conclusion for the other?

(Obviously, I think it is ludicrous in all cases to punish peaceful third parties for the actions of their customers.)

Your last statement in above is referring to John Ways Jr. Then it is totally ludicrous as he is in no way an innocent 3rd party. I know the man and his dad. Here's a little background on daddy

And just so you know he plea bargained out of possessing a unregistered full auto M16 w/ attached M79 grenade launcher and live grenades for same, also unregistered. Innocent ? I really doubt it.

I strongly oppose mandatory firearms registration by the federal government or any other government, and my opposition to registration is not limited to GCA firearms but extends to NFA items as well. While I do everything in my power to encourage folks to abide by existing laws for pragmatic reasons (i.e., not going to prison, not losing your civil rights, etc.), I do not believe it is immoral or unjust to break these unjust laws. Folks who are prosecuted under unjust laws are victims of injustice, and my sympathies are with them, not with the nanny state enforcers or the gullible types who eat up government propaganda about the dangers of an armed citizenry.

Also, I would be interested to see how he attached an M79 grenade launcher (a standalone, shoulder-fired device) to an M-16/AR-15. He must be a real innovator!

From a couple of quick Google searches, it looks like Ways ran into trouble relating to a full-auto rifle that he allegedly acquired in the nineties, plus several standalone 37mm launchers (including some single-shot launchers and one rotary-fed repeater) and some ammo. Without knowing more, I would assume that he probably had something like the old ASA "bird bombs" that ATF decided to clamp down on in 2001.

Drug dealers to our fifth graders.  Focus people.  These scum need to go far away.   This has nothing to do with freedoms.   Fifth graders should not be free to sniff glue, inhale fake pot or be allowed to ever see a drug glass shop.
