Just one.  And you don't have to load it---it'll be loaded and ready to go for you.  Don't miss, though---you only get one shot, and that -10 bonus can make a BIG difference to your stage time!

Okay, so we are less than a week out from ZOMBIES.

...and as always, we could use some help setting up.  I'll be at the range on Friday, and I'll be taking over the stages at noon---which means that anyone who happens to be available to help set up is welcome to come to ENGC anytime noon-ish or after to help set up.  (And I'll be there until sundown.)  I'll have stage diagrams, equipment lists, measurements, etc all ready to go---last year we got all 7 stages set up in only a couple of hours.

It was awesome.    And it would be nice to do that again. 

So---I could use some help.  If you would be available to help, please PM me, so we can talk about a couple of things, and so I know who might be showing up.  General help is appreciated, of course, so anyone showing up is welcome (and you can walk the stages a bit extra when they are set up ) but having a couple of people who I KNOW are going to show up and help at certain times makes a huge difference.

So if you know you can help, please PM me so we can talk about it and I can get an idea of how much help I'm going to get.

Countdown To ZOMBIES

We will be leaving online registration up until 6pm tomorrow night.  (Friday.)  We'll need to close it down then so we can run shooters the following day.

That being said---even if you didn't pre-register, you CAN still come to the match on Sunday, register, donate, and shoot.  We'll find a place for you.  (You'll just get less choice about squadding.)  The pre-registration helps us a LOT, in terms of the match prep we need to finish before anyone can shoot---but if you decide you want to come shoot on Sunday, then do it.

Just make sure you are registered PRIOR to 8:30.  At that point in time, we have to cut people off so we can get scoring set up in time for everyone else---and while we want you to be able to shoot, we can't have one person holding up the match for everyone else.

Preferably, pre-register. 

Remember---pre-registered or not, you WILL still need to check in at the range to finish your registration and donate, PRIOR to 8:30.  If you show up at 8:50 and want to shoot, we'll accept your donation but the scoring will already be set up, and you'll be shooting for no score, even if you pre-registered.  (We have to finalize the competitors that are THERE prior to setting up the scoring Nooks.  If you haven't checked in, you won't be in the Nooks.)

Short version:  Pre-register if possible.  If you can't, then register prior to 8:30am on Sunday at the match.  No matter what, you'll need to check in to finalize your registration and donate prior to 8:30am on Sunday.

It's The Day!  Time to shoot Zombies in the head!!

(Yes, staff took out a couple for you yesterday, just to give you some starting room to work with---but there are a LOT still out there.)

Quality holsters that cover the trigger guard, chamber flags for rimfires and rifles (bagged of course), PLENTY of ammo, eye and ear protection---and the WILL to make it through seven stages of zombies.

Get yourself to the range!

(PLEASE remember that you need to check in and verify your registration plus donate, and the cutoff time is 8:30am---so don't wait until 8:25 to try it, since there might be quite a line!)

113 shooters at the match---and hopefully everyone had a good time.  (As an aside, over 16,000 rounds went downrange at the match today!)

Congrats to our division winners (now marked with a Zombie Hunter patch--in case of Zombie Apocalypse, look for the patch to stay alive!) and ALSO a BIG thanks to DE Guns for (out of the blue, without solicitation) deciding to provide no less than FIVE gift certificates to shooters today.  (Chosen by random, one per division.)

I'll note that not only does DE Guns support the Marine Toys-For-Tots Foundation and the ENPS Zombie Match in this fashion, but they also sponsor some local shooters in the shooting sports.  So, you might bear that in mind when next buying guns/accessories/powder/etc.

No, I don't work for them, nor am I one of their sponsored shooters.  It was simply a really cool thing they did, and it was out of the blue--we didn't ask, they asked US if it was all right to give gifts. 

Because of YOU, we collected almost $1300 in cash donations, plus several HUGE boxes of toys.  The Marines mentioned that last year they helped 18,000 kids in the Omaha/Lincoln/Grand Island area---and we really were a big part of that. 

Those are good works, people.  Thank you for donating and helping.
