Rick signed the majority of the 132 people this weekend, we are by my estimates around 2,450 members now. I could be missing some numbers from the Lincoln show last week. so it may be higher.
I needed to slow down a bit and take a break, the apethy of some of the attendees has been getting to me recently, and I felt that I may snap and say something that would be a bad image for the NFOA, so I took it easy. We also got a little help from the "We the People" organization from the Hastings area. I will do a little studying about them, seem to be a great group and they have a very straight forward leader. I believe they have around 350-400 members.
AAllen, Pink, Glock1, FKSSA, FarmerRick, Fluff, George and RichB all were there, glad to see everyone and appreciated the help signing people up on our way to 10,000 members.
A very special thanks to Jim Price and Fluff for getting the NFOA a table in the main entryway, and thanks to Jim for the great plug and allowing us to get our first television exposure ;D, and thanks to Ginger TenBensel from KHAS TV channel 5 new for doing a beneficial story not only for us, but for all gun owners.

Although we were not recognized as NFOA members, AAllen and I were on Lou Dobbs (CNN's version of a conservative, their only version) last monday, you could see Andy's face in the opening about the GRPC and see my torso and lower jaw in one scene while clapping for a speaker. Sad that Wayne LaPierre got so much attention when Alan Gottlieb was "the man" at this conference. Wayne was there for all about 30 minutes with a canned speech.
One thing they all preached, get the grass roots gun rights groups organized and active. They don't have time or money to spend on low population states, they have bigger fish to fry nationally and internationally. Pass that on to your "NRA only" buddies.
