SCCY?

Anyone own a SCCY pistol? Anyone ever shoot one before? Trying to get some background and see if these guns are worthwhile to look into. The price makes them sound almost too good to be true.

I watched close to 40 of them go out the door at thunder alley ovr the last year, only one came back with an issue. That was handled immediately by SCCY's Customer Service.

The first generations had several issues, but anything made in the last two years is well worth the money.

My little brother had a first generation SCCY 9mm. The gun functioned fine, except that the safety lever was positioned so that recoil carried it into your thumb/hand. This could engage the safety during firing, and I experienced this at least four or five times on one range trip a few years back. I haven't fired their newer pistols.

With that said, the fit and finish of the gun seemed pretty good for the price point. The pistol basically felt like a blockier but more finely finished Kel-Tec P-11 with a safety.

I haven't owned one, but have read quite a few reviews, and all were favorable.

I have two. They are glove box guns. The trigger sucks but I know if pick it up it will go bang. Also takes up a lot less space than a Hi Point.
