Is it just me, or do others have many holsters per every 1 gun?

Its become like some sort of sickness. 

"I really like the holster i have, but ive heard such good things about this one." 

Then i end up with one other than thoes two, or worse yet appreciating the original the most...

An endless cycle...

So very much yes. I have a brand new holster for a gun I dont even have.

Only three holsters so far, but 1 is for a different gun
