http://www.kvoa.com/news/n4t-investigators-border-patrol-taking-agents-rifles/

This news report from Tucson, AZ station.  There are other links up the line nationally.  Fox news had about 1/3 of the info as the local news report.

Under the pretext of "function issues", rifles are being removed from service..   But there appears to be no process in place to replace those firearms removed from service so agents are having to 'share' the remaining guns in service...

First, the Administration made it difficult for border agents to protect the border against unlawful entry.  Now, it is making it difficult for the border agents to protect themselves against those entering unlawfully.    What's next?  Remove the agents from the border altogether?  That would make it really easy for the Democrats to create a super majority of voters to insure their continued re-election for perpetuity.   A nation without borders cannot sustain its sovereignty.    It's time to impeach.

As tax payers who payed for these items once already, we need to be first in line to buy it as surplus at a discount.

It only makes sense for the government to make money selling  surplus items rather than spending more money trying to destroy it.
