Need help finding a part
« on: December 22, 2014, 06:48:07 PM »
Trying to help a neighbor locate a replacment rear sight for his Taurus PT99. Google was no help. Checked locally in Lincoln and no luck.  If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it.

And also , MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Looks like Numrich doesn't stock it.  Have you tried contacting Taurus?

There's a "parts kit" on gunbroker that includes the rear adj sight: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=458597377
No Buy-It-Now price. I have no idea what something like that will go for.

As bkoenig said, your best bet may be to contact Taurus.

Did a quick "google" myself and found a lot of info...mainly that the damn things fall of and are lost. You would think there was a market for that alone.  Appears some people got results from contacting Taurus for a replacement.
