Why Carrying is a moral imperative.....

I have never thought about it being "immoral" to refuse to defend yourself and family as Hardwood83 mentioned, but this really makes sense to me.  Assuming that I am physically and mentally able, if I'm not willing to defend myself and family, why should anyone else?

 The very idea of relying on someone else to defend me and my family is ludicrous. It is my right and moral responsibility to do it. So in my opinion it is immoral and irresponsible not to carry or have access to that great tool that evens the playing field.
