Lincoln armed robbery spree - gun free zones??
66bigblock:
Just curious if anyone else has thought about the recent crime spree in Lincoln and if / which of the businesses that were robbed were gun free zones?
Im not saying these geniuses were smart enough to specifically choose the business that had the sticker displayed, but it might be interesting to find out.

It's an interesting idea. Don't know if the perps put that much thought into it. (Those sorta folks aren't always known for being super bright.) Here's the list of sites they held up in case anyone wishes to report on whether there is signage.

DR4NRA:
I have never seen signs at any Russ' or Super Saver, but would have to say this is a yes and no as they robbed the clerk in the seperate liquor store which I do believe is off limits to carry.
NE Bull:
Other than the national chain Sonic has asked folks not to carry there, I don't believe any of these places are posted, even the sonic isn't 'posted'.

Sonic would probably be a push in that although they ask you not to carry most people never get out of their vehicle so they would be exempt if I remember my rules correctly.
