EDC knife suggestions...

Mntnman:
I recently started carrying a knife every day to see if it was for me. I bought a cheap Snap On knife at Menards and it has proved its usefulness. However, it is not exactly what I want and is not very high quality. I want something with a pocket clip and assisted opening as I will be clipping it to my off hand pocket. The blade needs to be 3 to 3.5 inches. It does not need to be top notch and I feel my budget tops at around $50 unless a great deal presents itself. I like that idea of at least having something when I can't carry a firearm which is most of the time. I also find myself needing a knife as a tool several times a day.

That is nice! I think my wife would use it on me if I spent that much, though. Another consideration is that it will have a fair chance of being lost at some point.

Once Rick buys my CZ, I'll pick this up for my EDC.

Seriously, this is what I carry, even though I wish it did have a clip.  Got mine in the Bargin Cave at Cabela's for a lot less.  Under $100 OTD.
