Two Rivers - The Trout Lake
« on: April 30, 2015, 12:34:42 PM »
Anyone have any info available on the workings of it?  I know they're posted at the lake, however can't seem to find anything online.

You have to keep all trout, correct?  You must have a fishing license as well as a trout permit?  What if your catch happens to be "other than" trout?  What are they catching them on?

We camp Two Rivers quite a bit, and since last year i've been thinking long and hard about that dang lake.

When I was a kid I used to go there a lot, had the best luck with baby marshmallows dried in the sun for a while to make them a little hard.
Put 3 or so on a hook and a piece of split shot, the MMs will float up off the bottom.
I don't know the rules anymore, but the cost is not that much, call the park office.
Good luck, Greg58

It's been a long, long time since I've been there but I used a small jig called a "Rooster Tail" with a spinner.  Very successful and still have it.  That trout lake has smallish pan size trout.  Nothing but trout in that lake.

You'll need a park permit along with your fishing license.

Take your kids, neighbor kids, nieces, nephews or even the Mrs..

Y'all have fun.
