USE THIS DATA AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!!!

To make Subsonic 7.62x39 I start with Winchester brass and Winchester large rifle primers.
17 grains to 18 grains of Winchester 748 powder.
(17 grains = 1040) ( 18 grains = 1098) FPS.
Sierra 180 grain spitzer, diameter .311 code # 2310
This bullet is made for .303 Brit. but works well for this application.
Load to the same OAL as ball.
Out of my Colt 16 inch barrel I get around 1 inch groups at 25 yards, opens to about 5 inches at 100 yards.
This load will cycle my rifle, but just.

You should test your loads over a chronograph because when trying to stay under speed of sound little things can make a big diffrence.

AS WITH ANY LOADING DATA USE AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!!!

crappy accuracy, but may be a starting point for you as far as the powder load goes.
