Liberal Pope......

depserv:
When Jesus was preparing His disciples to go out on the road without Him He told them this:
And He said to them, “But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one.  Luke 22:36, NASB

There is little doubt that our Creator recognizes the right of self defense, as well as having the means to make that possible.  I think our founding fathers knew something about the Bible and its meanings.  Some churches though base their doctrine on what is currently popular with Man instead of on the word of God given us in the Bible.  There is much false teaching these days, and that's why we read the Bible, so we can tell who's telling us the truth and who's misleading us.

It doesn't take much research to realize that when Fransis was a lowly priest and bishop in Brazil he was also a full fledged Socialist. Liberal-Progressive-Socialist-Communist-Marxist. There may be variations in plumage but they are all the same bird and hatched from the same nest.

I thought he was from Argentina?
Anyway Pope should keep out of politics!!

Burkdoggy:
He's like Obama.  Trying to be divisive. Demonize inanimate objects, words and classes of people.  He'll go down in history as a joke just like Obama.  The pendulum will eventually swing right again.  I just hope I'm around to see it.

SemperFiGuy:
Right now I'm guessin' that a majority of the College of Cardinals members are:

(a)   Kicking themselves in their rumps for electing this Particular Fellow in the first place, and

(b)   Forming numerous small groups and cabals to work out a plan to get rid of him.

(The Other Pope is still alive and available.)

Geez Loooeeeeeezzzzzze!  It's as if Obama were Pope.   How did we ever get here?
