The Lincoln Izzak Walton is hosting a winter Air Gun league starting this Thursday. We meet in the clubhouse for practice at 6:30 PM. Cost of entry is only $5, but kids shoot for free. This a great opportunity to hone your skills in rifle and pistol. We will hold NRA sanctioned matches each month on Saturday mornings. I look forward to seeing everyone come out and shoot. Here is a brief explanation for those not familiar with indoor air gun.
We shoot paper at 10 meter using .177 air rifles and pistols. We have some Daisy 888 rifles for public use. We will be shooting 3-position air rifle (standing, prone, and kneeling) and International Rifle and Pistol (all standing). Shooting coats are allowed in the Precision category. You'll want a low power spotting scope. You can also bring your Gamo or Benjamin air rifles if you'd like an opportunity to shoot those. The precision division typically uses Anschutz or Feinwerkbau rifles. Everything is slow fire. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
