Ashford endorses Clinton
« on: December 15, 2015, 04:01:26 PM »
Don't surprise me, and he has really lame reasons to support her.

"Clinton has served as first lady, senator and secretary of state. Ashford said her experience and background are just what the country needs now.
“Her decades of public service have prepared her to lead our nation during these turbulent times,” Ashford said. “We need more than rhetoric; we need a leader who will bring people together to grow our economy, keep promises to our veterans and protect our nation from terrorism.”"

HELLary thinks the biggest threats to this country are the NRA and American gun owners, she suffers from the same speech impediment as Barry, they are incapable of saying "Islamic terrorism".

He has a D, she has a D. Shocking.  He is is just getting a free punch on his crony card. If he builds up enough points, he wins a trip to somewhere hot.  I didn't vote for him in case there is any doubt!

"First Lady" is not an electable office.  She was elected as a Senator from a state where she hadn't established residency, and her tenure as Sec of State was marked by lethal (for others) blunders, cronyism, accepting bribes, violating State Department rules concerning both state secrets and email useage.  It is an indication of the level of corruption in the administration that she is not already in prison.

She would be in jail if she was a Republican.  Plus she's missing the most important qualification to run this great country........Community Organizer.

Instead of her two terms as First Lady Ashford should refer to the new Cabinet position philandering Bill created: President's Wife.  It's not quite the same as First Lady since she had jobs beyond what the First Lady traditionally has.  And Hillary is no lady anyway.  Considering Bill's behavior, a better name might be First Bimbo.

No one should be surprised that an America-hating liberal bigot like Ashford would endorse Hillary.  Would anyone expect him to endorse a complete loser like O'Malley or a clown like Bernie, or a loyal American like one of the Republicans running?  What is surprising is that the voters of Omaha could have been stupid enough to elect someone like Ashford, when Nebraska's other two districts elected patriots.  Hopefully Omaha will wake up and do better next time.

My guess is no one who would come to this site voted for Ashford, except maybe a liberal who might come here to do reconnaissance on the enemy camp.

It looks to me like somehow the Omaha Republicans let their country down, by not coming up with a candidate that could beat a known traitor like Ashford, at a time when liberals were not very popular.  That's almost as bad as nominating someone like Romney.  Let's hope they do better next time.
