Gun control activist to join President Obama at Omaha speech

How representative is this lying bigot of those who teach at UNL? Has our state university been turned into a liberal indoctrination center like so many others? Is our tax money being used to pay for indoctrination into the liberal cult? How much control do we the citizens of this state have over who teaches in the state university? Who chooses who gets hired and who gets fired, and do we have any control over who they are? If a UNL professor stood with a Klansman expressing politically incorrect bigotry liberals would find a way to get her removed (as they should). A liberal bigot is every bit as morally repugnant to a patriot as a racist bigot. So do we have any kind of power to get this one out of what has apparently become an indoctrination center?

Well, keep in mind it is "Andrews Hall", the English department. That place has been and always will be Weirdo World. Nothing new there that should cause you to lose sleep.
There will be some students who pass through there for a few mandatory classes and cover the basics of grammar and literature. Fine and dandy. They won't be corrupted.
On the other hand there will be be students who want to major in English and Journalism because (as one of my Journalism major friends once commented to me), "it doesn't require any mathematics." Or because they're out to save the world because they hate the status quo because they were raised by parents who told them that when "bad things" happen it's always gotta be someone else's fault. If that's their perspective on life, then they're on the weirdo track anyway.
The point being, don't be surprised that the shrill emotionalism originates from Andrews hall, as opposed to the science or engineering colleges, or the more rational and mathematical social sciences like Economics.

Just remember, guys. When people like her resort to expletive filled rants like this, it's because they're frustrated. Why are they frustrated? Because slowly but surely, we're winning. Gun ownership is increasing and a majority of the public believes in the 2nd Amendment. As we keep making progress in the fight for our rights you can expect people like her to get even more shrill and extreme.
