PSA AR-15 magazine questio
« on: January 17, 2017, 11:12:54 PM »
I have heard that PSA rifles have issues with one of the generations of PMAGS, has anyone experienced this issue or have a mag they recommend? Got one for the wife for Christmas/her birthday and want to make certain she has mags that her rifle will work with.

i know the PMAG 40's originally had some issues, but that was fixed and not necessarily a PSA issue.  i think it was a feed lip issue.  i have some PSA lowers from a few years ago and they've never had a problem, period.

Maybe gen 2s? They are a tight fit in my DPMS anyways (they work but do not drop free when released). Gen 3s work fine though. Hope this helps!

Most of my pmags are gen 2 and I have never had a issue with them and PSA lowers.

I've had issues with P-Mags in several brands of lower.
