Their gun politics have changed quite a bit since the Amazon guy bought the paper.

I don't typically pay attention to the newspapers, because they all seem to do more than lean a little left.

Heard about this article on a podcast that I listen to at work today, and thought it was interesting that any main stream media news outlet would even run something good regarding the use of firearms.

WaPo have even been running articles countering the "no citizen with a gun has ever stopped a crime" rhetoric from the left, and giving specific examples.  Here's one of them.

Which is good because I really like the Washington Post except for their politics.  It's refreshing to read a real newspaper now and then.  The quality of the local Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World Herald rags is pathetic.

I'll have to pay more attention to WaPo then.  Surprised to hear they're doing this at all.

Yeah, I've had co-workers "quoted" by the World Herald, and let's just say, the best instance was, the context was wrong.  In one case, they misquoted the person.

Having seen that, makes me really wonder about some of the other articles that they have printed.
