CZ 75 SP-01

Looking to purchase a new fullsize handgun mostly for home defense, and the CZ 75 SP-01 in 9mm has my undivided attention. The problem being, I can't find this gun anywhere, and I would like to be able to hold one if not shoot one first before purchasing. Does anyone have any idea as to where I may be able to get my paws on one of these, or rent at a range somewhere and put a few rounds through it?

My boss bought a couple at DE Guns in Lincoln.  Not sure if they have any more in stock.

I checked with DE Guns, as I am in Lincoln. They are out of stock, and I am currently on their email list for when they get more in. I have also checked with Scheels, Cabela's, Nebraska Gun, BigShots Range, and Thunder Alley, with no luck.

I am slightly new to the handgun world, but am quickly understanding the enthusiasm and honor of owning one. With that being said, I have never been to a gun show. Are CZ guns typically represented at shows, or does it depend on the size of the show?

One of the better shows is this weekend in Fremont. Don't know if the CZ will be there. Also you probably won't want to pay gun show prices  :o

Good to know, Thanks! I may have to check out the show in Fremont. If anything else, it would be a good experience for me.

...he can get you in contact with someone who is selling their SP-01.  (And it is a nice one, too, set up by Accurate Arms if I recall correctly.)

I would also recommend checking out the SP-01 Shadow.  I got mine from CZ Custom and absolutely love it

Got my SP-01 thanks to the helpful folks at DE Guns! :D ;D Well worth the struggle to find it! Now I just can't wait to get it to the range. I'll try to post a pic if I can figure that out on here.

I found out the other day that thunderalley has several different CZs on consignment right now...
