XD(S) .40 SW Released

Hello all,

Just wanted to give you guys some information in case a few of you run accross the same issue I had.

Springfield just released the .40 cal version of the XD(s) series. I previously had the 9mm but sold it and bought a .40 to match all of my other XD series pistols. I went through an online vendor since no where in the Omaha area carries them or have any idea that they are even out yet (go figure).

There is one small problem....mags. I wanted extra mags for the range and could not find them ANYWHERE. Online, stores, small gun shops, gunsmiths, etc. I ended up calling Springfield and found out that they DO have mags for sale but you have to order them over the phone since they are in such high demand. I ordered a few and should have them by the end of next week.

Thought this might be helpful in case any of you run in to the same issue.

It's a new gun problem. Glock always has issues with mag supplies when they release a new gun. Give time for the pipeline to fill.
