CCW pistol carry
« on: April 14, 2016, 11:06:06 PM »
Hi all,
I have a question about my wife concealed carry. She has just received her CCW and wants to carry one of my pistols. My question is, is there some kind of law the pistol needs to be registered in her name?

What are your thoughts?

No.

At least, in Nebraska:  No.

For almost all of the state (read:  everywhere other than Omaha) no pistol needs to be "registered" to anyone in the first place.  And EVERYWHERE in Nebraska, the minute you get a CHP, all other local ordinances and such regarding the possession, transportation, and carry of pistols are irrelevant to you.  The only laws (after that point in time) that matter are state laws, and this state does NOT have any registration requirements.
