I'll make a prediction: Nothing significant will be done before the election.
IF Hillary wins, nothing will be done afterwards either, except that Comey will be replaced and may suffer Akansaside. The remaining government agencies will be weaponized against Conservatives and Christians, the 2nd Amendment will be nullified by E.O., which is now rule by decree. Guns will be confiscated. Massive numbers of illegal aliens will be handed the right to vote (without ever having to become a citizen) in order to assure Democrats that they will be continually reelected for decades and decades to come. (Just like Johnson promised his party that "the n**** will vote Democrat for decades"). Economically, the USA will follow the path Venezuela was forced down. Food will be rationed. There will be mass migrations within the country to break up families and social groups in order to dis-orient them and keep them from opposing the government. As the economy sours people will be forced out of welfare rolls and into menial jobs, probably doing manually farming out in the country to keep them busy and "fight Global Warming". For that same reason oil and coal production will be shut down, except to serve the elites, and folks will resort to burning trees, bushes and grass to warm themselves and cook food. (Smarter ones will use solar collectors and rocket stoves). It will be Hell on earth for decades. The 80 million people with guns? Probably less than 0.01% will revolt. 800,000. But they won't have the high tech equipment the military has and won't be able to resist in any significant way. Pointing to Islamic rebels is not the same. They've always had outside support. Americans will have no outside support from any other country.
IF Trump wins, the first thing he'll have to do, besides suspend previous E.O.'s, is to purge the federal office holders and military of Obama's yes-men, and try to avoid assassination while he does it. He'll be harassed by legal assaults from every side, probably including the Republican Party as well. With friends like them who needs enemies? Just cleaning out of the government folks who hate the Constitution, our UNABRIDGED Bill of Rights, and our Republic might be a four year job. Appoint SCOTUS justices that love what our Founding Fathers built, not the socialist nightmare it is changing into. Obama signed E.O.s and ignored laws and parts of laws which resulted in Customs agents from enforcing the immigration laws. The same approach can be used against the 1968 gun control and all other such acts, instructing federal police to not enforce laws which infringe the plain text meaning of the 1st and 2nd amendments. Constitutional carry and FREE speech. There is no such thing as "hate" speech.
Cleaning up 60 years of creeping socialism will be difficult. There are a LOT of people addicted to the 48 programs of government handouts.
