2016 Board of Directors election
« on: November 09, 2016, 04:17:53 PM »
Cross posting here for those that may not see this in the Full NFOA members area.   If you don't login, or are not a full NFOA member you would not see this  in the members only section.  If that applies to you, sign up to be a full member!

It is time for the NFOA board elections. The entire board is elected by the membership every two years to serve two year terms. This occurs on even number years.

Nominations for board members is now open.  Please consider serving a term on the board to help drive and grow the organization.  We have one board member that has decided not to run for another term, so we need some new talent to step up and inject new ideas and energy.

You have until the 21st of November to contact me with your desire to run.

I plan to publish bios for all candidates that same week.

Voting will be open for open week, ending November 30th. Each member may vote for up to 3 candidates. The new board will consist of the 5 candidates with the most votes.

The results of the election shall be certified during the December Board meeting.  The new board will elect officers during the December board meeting.

Voting is open now and has been open for a few days.  It closes tomorrow at midnight.  If you are a full member you should have already seen this in the Members section.  If you haven't seen it and you are a full member you may not be logged in and missing out of sections of the forum.

Also, as Dan noted elsewhere, the polls do not display when using Tapatalk.  So you will need to use a browser to login to vote.

The link to the voting and candidate bios is here:
